Hello! today i will talk about my current favorite mascara. its by Essence Get Big Lashes Volume Boost Waterproof Mascara. I always saw this whenever i go to Paloma store and honestly Essence range never got my attention because of their cheap packaging. i always thought that cheap makeup sucks haha! BUTTTT recently i tried a couple of well-known super affordable makeup brands and they impressed me more than those shitty branded one! ;/ so yessss! im glad i gave this a try!
they actually have a lot of mascara range, so it took me a while to pick which one i wanted to try. so in the end i picked the ONLY waterproof one. im not sure if the other ones are waterproof because it doesnt have 'waterproof' printed on it and the lady suggested me this one if i wanted a waterproof one. the price? ITS ONLY BND3.90!!! REALLY. okay im not 100% sure if its BND3.90 cause its been a month but im sure its around BND3! i tried it on right away after i got home. so here's my shamless selfies with them on haha! *i only used my ipod touch 5 to take pics cause i dont know how to selfie with my camera haha. must have front camera ok! so excuse the quality!*
BTW i curled my lashes before applying with Missha's Eyelash Curler.
PROS : LENGTHENS. VOLUME. HOLDS CURLS. EASY TO REMOVE. DIDNT SMUDGE OR FLAKES. CHEAP!!
CONS : CAN GET CLUMPY. STICKY TEXTURE.
Overall, im pretty impressed with the outcome especially with the price. its something that i would recommend to people who doesnt want to spend big on cosmetics but want an effective outcome. it performs much much better than my BND30ish Holika Holika Mascara Wand. although it might look kind of 'spidery' by some people.. but i actually liked the spidery look! i dont have beautiful thick lashes, so this is OK for me! also i dont know why some people said its hard to remove? i think their makeup remover arent good enough cause i can remove them with just one swipe haha. i used Loreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover!
