Friday's Event

Last friday we had this Majlis Pengislaman(coverting to muslim ceremony). It was my sister's boyfriend. and so also had a small dikir ceremony for airis and my other nieces & nephews too. I dont have much to say, lets just enjoy the pictures!

i didnt copied all the pictures from my brother's camera. only copied airis's hehe. my baby looked extra pretty that night!! loved her outfit!

Motivation

Im pretty sure all first mothers tend to get excited over little things their child did or will do. like me, i even think its an 'accomplishment' for my baby when she first scratch her head. lol! there will be many firsts for my daugther this year! in a few weeks time, she will start to eat! which is exciting because idkwhy! and then she'll start crawling, walking, etc. she will also start to talk! me and my husband are kind of competitive of each other over airis O.O we were always like, "no, she loves ME more!" and we even bet on her first word. he thinks her first word will be "daddy". i think its gonna be 'mommy' :p as you can see, we love her VERY MUCH. and we want her first birthday to be VERY SPECIAL. we even started to collect our money for it! OK, i know she wont remember her first birthday. but its more like a celebration to US. 1 year is a big deal! so we set our budget to maximum $500. btw, her birthday is months away(august) but i made this list super early as a way to motivate me to keep collecting money for her birthday. i HATE last minute planning because then we will have to work with the money we have during that time and it wont be as fun as we planned to due to budget cost. so this list is mainly to motivate me to move on and collect at least $50 per month. i will even printed these out and put it on my wall! :p i even plan to print out my 'dream home' designs as a way to motivate me to work hard to get what i want. am i the only one who motivates self this way? 0.0

im so excited for the decorations! found these really awesome tip on how to decorate a party. and i really think these on the list is very easy to do and at such a low cost! i really like the look of the different sizes of balloons taped on the wall. and the CHOCOLATE balloons! i never saw chocolate-color balloons before and i'd definitely include a chocolate-color balloons for the dessert table! it really looks like malteser, right?! the balloon hanging decorations is really pretty and very creative. NO NEED HELIUM! will also include petal decorations too! purple! theme color is purple instead of the usual pink cause my baby's name is Airis, like the flower Iris! :p

as for the food, will inlcude lots of finger foods! will only include Noodle for the main cause it'll be held on the lateafternoon and im pretty sure people are full of the lunch and i dont want any food to waste! will order most of the food catering from online sellers! i will definitely order from Sweet As Sara for her cupcakes, gradient cake from vanilla kitchen, cinnamon buns from just cinful and chicken rissoles from kitchen of jasmine. i really hope these ladies will continue their business when the day comes! and for foods, i dont wanna exceed $200! because i have crepe maker at home, i hope i can find someone who knows how to make crispy creme during the event! for cotton candy, will just borrow cotton candy maker from my friend! there'll be a lot of sweet treats though! expect sugar rush!

as for actitivies, photo booth is A MUST! got this amazing cheap idea from google for photo backdrop. just use crepe/tissue paper as background! what a low-cost idea! karaoke for the adults. face painting. and pinata! the only pricey idea here is the bouncer/galdiator dual. its optional! this depends on my husband and future budget. he's the one who wants it. for guest book, omg, creative idea again! the thumb print is really an eyecatcher! i just hope everyone will cooperate!

pretty much most of these i will buy from ebay! cause its way cheaper there.

oh yeah, my laptop is sent for a fix. so i wont b posting beauty reviews soon :O(

My Week

I had a fun time with my girls yesterday. I met up with three of my close friends from highschool at Cheezbox and brought along Airis(cause they begged to). It has been a while since i last saw them. we usually meet like once or twice a year!

my baby sitting on a baby chair for the first time! she's 5months plus now! a little more to go, then she can eat!

thanks to my husband for sending me to meet my friends! i cant drive yet cause im always with airis! 

 my outfit yesterday.

wore this shoe. so pretty! my sister bought this from the Philippines. its for my other sister, but since it fits me too and goes well with my outfit, i wore this!

she got this for me. so comfortable! i want more shoes! i threw away 2 of my fav shoes cause i found out that it is made out of pigskin!!! thank god my sister bought me new flats(canvas)

 also finally get to wear my boot! i swear, everytime i wear this boot, a lot of people stared at it.

also last week, i went to the movies with my husband. we watched CZ12. i thought it'll be boring cause i dont like action movies. but its not, its a fun movie to watch and im glad my husband chose this! it was our first time to watch a movie at times cineplex. we were actually lost. lol. i even asked the holika holika girl where is the cinema located. the cinema is really big! even the escalator is the longest i've ever seen. haha. oh and the toilet! it was huge. and quiet. and kind of scary

BRUNEI ONLINE FOOD EDITION #2

Ok, my 'taste online food' journey continues. but this is an overdue post! this is 'Sweet As Sara' cupcakes! her cupcakes are the best looking cupcakes i've ever seen in brunei! she usually post an invite on her facebook/instagram for people to book her cupcakes. for instance, she said there'll be around 70 boxes of cupcakes available for sunday pick up. then people will start booking theirs and pick it up on the stated day. it always sold out FAST.

As you can see, we've purchased her cupcakes several times. Her cupcakes are quite tasty. really sweet though. and very fulfilling. i really like the butterscotch cupcake. I kept on buying because she prepared different flavours every week, so its really tempting to try new ones! she has A LOT of flavours!

SEE? i wanna try the peanut butter one!!!! this example below is how the situation is when people start booking her cupcakes! hectic!

Taste : as she said, FROSTING MAKES THE CAKE. so yes, her frosting is really something. only for sweet tooth! and i cant rate cause it depends on the flavors.

price 5/5 : range $10 - $20. depends on how many cupcakes per box and the size of cupcakes. but very reasonably priced!

Convenience 3/5 : only for pick up at Kiulap. usually on sundays

it has tightening feeling when used. face looks brighter after use and feels softer!!! temporary. overall, i cant really say much. its not a miracle product. i guess people kept on buying this because its chocolate! lol. but yeah, it doesnt do anything to my pores/blackheads. :( and definitely doesnt remove my scars. and doesnt minimize my blemishes at all. but i dont know why i still use this! i really the brightening and supple effect it has after use! i use this 3 times per week. and im always excited when its time to use again x___x i dont have severe pimple problems, so im not sure how this will work on them!

Bought from Aishop.com.my for around BND$18 when on promo, now it costs BND$29. shipping is around BND$9. also bought a bra for BND$10 too! :D arrival of items is fairly fast, the ordering process was just okay. but for international customers, have to pay by paypal.. which means.. have to order minimum RM150 :( i was planning to order the mask first, but have to order other stuff to reach RM150 cause they dont accept international cards. hope they will allow paypal method for no minimum orders! :D

I made a plan back then, that 2013 would be the year where i would try tasty online food from local sellers! in my country, online business is a HUGE thing! so there's a LOT of online food to try! here's the first one!

My bestfriend raved this on her IG, so i visted her IG and found LOTS of positive feedbacks. plus, her puddings looks delicious! so i ordered one! at first, i wasnt sure if i want the cream cheese icing or cadbury. so i requested for half cream cheese, half cadbury!

i noticed that many asked how big it is. so here's it is! compared to Air Suci 330ml.

i like that the icing is thick!

Taste 3.5/5 : It pretty much tastes like marie pudding/graham refrigerated cake. Usually people would top with fruits. But she topped it with cream cheese/cadbury frosting, which is a good and tasty subsitute! Personally, i like the cadbury frosting better! you can definitely taste the cadbury!

Price 5/5 : It only costs B$5. i think its pretty affordable for such a size. and one pudding is enough to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Convenience 3/5 : Only for pick up only(Jangsak). unless you ordered 5 puddings(i think!), then they will arrange for delivery. But depends on availability. She gets like 100 orders of pudding for pickups, so people must have love her puddings, right? I honestly believe if people are willing to drive around just to pick up food from online sellers, then it must be really good :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I spent my last day of 2012 and my first hours of 2013 well. My family had a bbq event at home, like every year, and that never fails me. Around 9pm+ my husband and I went to his uncle's dinner event. Left Airis at home with my siblings cause its late already. We were also planning to go to McD cause danial craved for Prosperity, but we didnt. Arrived at uncle's around 10pm+ and eat again. didnt eat much cause i ate alot at my house. I stayed there until 1am+ doing karaoke. lol. Arrived home around 2am+ WHAT A NIGHT

overall, 2012 is a challenging year for me. and i hope 2013 will bring more happiness!

WHAT HAPPENED IN 2012?

1) GOT MARRIED

i married to the man of my life. my boyfriend of 4 years. i honestly couldnt be happier. i believe everything happens for a reason. and Alhamdulilah we made it. he's my bestfriend, the one i can confide in with anything and he could never judge. he's the only one who's really there for me. and i love him eternally and i know we're still young, but i really really hope our marriage will stay strong until we both die :3 :p

2) GOT A PET RABBIT

i know its no big deal, but i never own a rabbit before. my rabbit was a lionhead dwarf which i bought online from a local seller. i think i was being sort-of scammed because i bought him for $100!!!! im embarassed to tell people how much i bought him for, cause people will say, "really? i saw people sell rabbit like this for $10!" i guess i was really didnt think through cause he was so tiny and cute and i just HAD TO HAVE HIM. but months later, he died because he was killed by dogs :'( i was really devastated. i was so attached. he was an indoor pet, but due to some reason, i was forced to put him outside. then just days later, he was attacked. or so as i was told. i was searching for him in the morning to feed him and he wasnt in his cage. i asked ppl around wheres my rabbit, but no one would tell me. then eventually, my husband told me when he called his mom. then i cried out into tears :'( i really loved him and it was really a sad time for me. 

3) GAVE BIRTH TO A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL

giving birth is one of my biggest fears. and i was really anxious when i was told that i will be induced. they told me that the baby is big thats why they have to forced the baby out. but.... no, my baby is only 2.9kg! ugh. it was also my first time to stay the night at the hospital. it wasnt as scary as i thought! people were always telling me how scary the maternity ward is! i didnt experience any ghost encounters ;D when the baby came out, she's perfect. i was losing a lot of blood and almost fainted. i was anemic that time. my baby is almost 5 months now and i love her with all my heart!

4) GOT MY DRIVER'S LICENSE
its every teen's dream! i can now go anywhere i want!
